Ichthyosis: moisturising your skin will help a lot

The milder ichthyoses can be well controlled by regular moisturising sessions using emollients such as Epaderm® Ointment or Epaderm Cream.

Emollients are also important in the treatment of more severe forms of the condition and antibiotics may be needed from time to time, as well as antibacterial treatments.

Epaderm Ointment is a 3-in-1 emollient that can be applied to the skin, used as a skin cleanser, or also used as a bath additive.

Epaderm Cream is a 2-in-1 emollient that’s applied to the skin or used as a skin cleanser.
