Managing psoriasis:
moisture is the key
Psoriasis is a chronic condition that can’t be cured, but can be managed.
If you or a child develops psoriasis, the first thing to do is seek medical advice. Depending on whether the condition is mild, moderate or severe, the doctor may prescribe steroids or other treatments, and will probably also advise you to keep the skin well moisturised and to avoid soaps and other irritants that can make the condition worse.
Epaderm® Ointment is an ideal moisturiser for psoriasis. It contains no preservatives or perfumes and has been developed by dermatologists. Healthcare professionals all over the world use and recommend it.
It’s available as an ointment or a cream and is suitable for people of all ages, including babies.
Epaderm Ointment is a 3-in-1 emollient, which means you can use it as a skin cleanser, a skin moisturiser or a bath additive.
Epaderm Cream is a 2-in-1 emollient – suitable for skin moisturising and cleansing. It’s an ideal alternative to harsh soaps or detergents and should always be used when washing dry skin.
